Pierre is an internationally recognized and renowned expert in company development strategies in the Middle East, Africa and North-Africa region (MENA) in the oil & gas, logistics, construction (ports, infrastructure, health facilities), technology, aviation, transportation, mining and renewable energy.

For over thirty (30) years, Pierre has been advising European companies, governments and corporate organisations that are looking to enter into high-growth markets, especially for the energy (oil, gas, solar), mining, and construction sectors.

With his deep knowledge of geopolitics, socio-economic issues coupled with his broaden networks in the business, political and security sectors, Pierre became quickly indispensable for the implementation of many companies in difficult environment and for the settlement of complex disputes involving multiple high-level stakeholders. Over the years, Pierre has also conducted several highly sensitive special diplomatic assignments to solve inter-governmental crisis or liberate foreign nationals.

Pierre started his career in the company he founded to support the expansion in the Middle East and Africa of French industrial and technology flagships such as Air France Industries, Alstom, Thales International, Snecma or SPIE. Construction of ports, factories, agribusiness, fight against fraud and piracy, mining, or led lighting, Pierre supported the implementation and projects of companies in multiple sectors and countries, developing an extensive knowledge of Africa. Additionally, Pierre participated in the construction of several hospitals in conflict or underdeveloped areas such as Iraq.

Pierre is the founder and current senior advisor of Athena Energia, a Dubai based company that supports oil & gas and mining companies in their transition towards sustainable energy to achieve energy efficiency.

For a period of twelve (12) years, Pierre was the President of the Chamber of Commerce for the Near and Middle-East countries in Paris (France) and in 2016 Pierre founded the Europe Middle East Africa Chamber of Commerce in Brussels.

Being passionate with Pre-Columbian, African and Oceanian art, equitation, and geopolitics, Pierre is a person with an extraordinary intellectual and cultural wealth, with great humility and an intimate link with the African continent.  

Pierre joined the Tomorrow Foundation’s board of advisors and thus, brought the necessary expertise and resources to develop new global initiatives in the fields of green energy, and sustainable development.

Pierre has huge experience in the oil & gas and oil transportation business worldwide and was senior strategist advisor for the CEO of Maurel & Prom (oil company) and Foroil in Libya. Pierre owned an oil transport business in Tunisia through his company PARMEX for STIR (Société Tunisienne des Industries de Raffinage) and in partnership with Barry Rogliano Salles (BRS).
