Benjamin is presently an executive board member of Zinhoe Oil & Gas Namibia (Pty) Ltd, a Namibian registered entity established to provide integrated world class first service, consolidated logistic base, logistics services and supply chain consolidation base within Namibia to support the operations of IOC (International Oil Companies), NOC (National Oil Companies), port authorities and the Energy industries, including green energy.
Benjamin is a French Citizen and an Oil & Gas Supply Chain qualified engineer with extensive experience and knowledge in the Supply Chain processes combined with proven adaptability and project management skills that have suited a large range of positions within the Oil & Gas Supply Chain. He has proven ability in defining and implementing Warehouse Material Management and Logistics operational procedures, technical and organizational requirements, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), Safety management system and Supply Chain modules of ERP.
Benjamin is presently the commercial director of 3PL Energy FZ LLC offering complete logistics turnkey solutions to clients, from project engineering & planning to execution onshore and/or offshore. 3PL Energy is a Dubai based entity that offers complete logistics turnkey solutions to clients, from project engineering & planning to execution onshore and/or offshore. It provides a full range of services tailored to customers’ individual business requirements, and across all geographical regions and trade routes, ranging from EPC, mining, oil and gas, power generation and other infrastructure projects.
Benjamin is skilled in Warehouse inventory management, OS&D process, material traceability technologies including HSE storage requirements for chemicals and dangerous goods and all aspects of contracts management from preparation and evaluation of call for tenders to operational follow-up of contract execution through SQM (HSE, quality, costs).
Benjamin has worked for various IOC (International Oil Companies) and multinationals companies, including Maersk Oil (Angola), Total E&P (Nigeria), Total (Angola), Total E&P (Congo and UK) and Pfizer USA.
Benjamin occupied the following positions in the past eighteen (18) years:
- Development Engineer: Pfizer USA (2006).
- Project Manager for performance in logistic Operations entity: Total E&P (Angola, Congo, UK) (2008 – 2009).
- Logistics Methods Analyst: Total E&P Nigeria (2009 – 2010).
- Head of Methods & HSE for Technical Logistics: Total E&P Nigeria (2010 – 2014).
- Logistics Engineer: Maersk Oil (Angola) (2014 to 2015).
Benjamin has accumulated huge experiences in the supply chain and oil & gas project management field throughout his career, including:
- Leading the warehouse stream for ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) Inventory and Warehouse optimization study. Visited all AGCs storage locations and developed future warehouse operating model with Central Receiving and Regional Hubs consolidation.
- Developing 3PL Logistics Engineering methodology for the design of an offshore supply base including Warehousing storage and operational requirements to support the global life cycle of an Oil &Gas project.
- Developing Logistics integrated strategy for West African Oil & Gas development project defining all warehousing and outdoor storage surfaces and layouts, transportation and handling & lifting needs required in-country, focusing on a global Port & Off-Port storage strategy. Developed long-term P&L (CAPEX & OPEX) and associated commercial tariff.
- Ensuring the suitability of logistics operations to HSE rules while optimizing costs and deadlines for Total E&P Nigeria including preparation of annual budgets for operations (Marine, Helicopters, Logistics Base, Personnel – Budget 2014: 480 MUSD), budget revisions and monthly costs performance reviews.
- Involvement in Warehouse Inventory management optimization for Total E&P Nigeria – Reduction of the physical inventory discrepancies in stock. Resolution of reception backlog with purchasing department. Implementation of systematic stock check with a dedicated team for each transaction.
- Defining contractual strategies and support technical part for the production of call for tenders for logistics operations (specifications and remuneration) and ensuring proper implementation of contracts.
Benjamin is the holder of a Specialized Master’s degree in Strategy and Operations Management – Supply Chain & Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Purchasing Strategy and Industrial Management from the ESCP Europe Business School (France: Paris) – European School of Management and a qualified Chemical engineer from ENSCP –École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris (Specialization in Organic chemistry).
